We are excited to introduce our brand-new, self-developed ultra-light FPV drone. The 150-gram model has already had its first major appearance! Two weeks ago, it was used at The Grand Jam live concert in the Deutsche Bank Park Stadium in Frankfurt, and the results were unique even for us.
After 12 years of Skynamic, something is now possible that was previously unimaginable.
The special thing about this ultra-light drone is that, due to its low weight and compact design, it allows us to fly indoors over crowds, which was never doable before. Thanks to cutting-edge technology and a robust safety concept, we can capture aerial perspectives that present both artists and audiences in a completely new light. What we especially liked in Frankfurt was the ability to fly live from outside into the interior of the stadium. Not many arenas offer this possibility. The wow-effect for the audience is significantly higher, as something like this has never been achieved with a flight over the ranks before. In addition to the low weight, propeller guards are added as an extra safety feature.
While we are able to stream in HD, we can simultaneously record internally in 4K, which is ideal for after-movie purposes. The team, as always, consists of an FPV pilot and an assistant. On-site, we provide an SDI 1080p50 signal to the OB truck.
With this successful start in Frankfurt, we are looking forward to a future where live recordings with FPV drones are used even more frequently, thrilling audiences in a completely new way. We are thinking of various sports events such as biathlon or ice hockey. We look forward to new ideas and are always available to discuss them.
Our FPV operations at outdoor events are also being streamed more frequently. For this, we use a larger model that cannot fly over people, but can reach a maximum speed of 185 km/h. These images are also new and highly regarded.
Let me know if you’d like to adjust anything further!
