Drone Action inside of Cologne City central

Fast action from above is our specialty. Nevertheless its something quite notable, when the whole traffic routes are shut down for our flights.

The action series “Alarm für Cobra 11” is very popular in over 100 nations. Since 2014 we offered our aerial service for the show many times in and around Cologne.
This time we filmed a car chase through the city center that we filmed with our octocopter equipped with GH4 camera.
With this system its possible to go up to 80 km/h which we needed when following a fast car. In order to keep the drone close to the herocar and delivering more precise shots, our pilot and cam operator got into a following car to operate from inside the vehicle. By that, we were able to deliver shots that were edited scene by scene with shots from the camcar or crane seamlessly.

Such costly shootings were authorized by the city of Cologne, the police and of course the Luftfahrtbundesamt NRW, with whom we checked the permission at an early stage already. Additional to that we obtain the permissions and support the client with all questions to the authorization from the motif-owner.
